Today was fun. I took Aidan to a meetup at the park. At first she was hesitant and scowling but after a while (okay, over an hour later) she lightened up and started playing with the kids and squealing and talking. She just has to observe for awhile and then join in. Pierce, the 17 month old, she seems to get along with the best. They played ball together and shared their snacks. At the end they even hugged each other. It was so cute. I'm so glad I can take her to things like this. I think about what ifs a lot and if I had to work all the time then she'd just pull more into her shell. Basically, I'm saying I'm grateful our life is such that I can devote so much energy to my daughters.
