Happy Thanksgiving!

No fuss this year! It was just John, me, the girls, Brandon and Mom. 

Aidan played holiday music for us. 

Aivry's 1st OHs

I gave Aivry some OHs (cheerios) for the first time today. Although I do not want her eating too much wheat/ grains until after a year old... I figured it was time for her to work on her pincer grasp.

 Yeah... already got it Mom! 

No need to practice! 

*We're still trying to work out if she's a lefty or righty.

 She favors both.

Happy 8 Months AIVRY!

Yesterday, we spent Aivry's 8 month Birthday at my Grandmother's. (and then drove 6 hours home) I couldn't help myself and dressed Aivry up. So... FOUR more months and my baby girl is a YEAR old! Ahhhhhhh  Where is the time going????

So... Aivry...

Weighs about 20 lbs.

Is wearing mostly 9 months but some 12 months.

NO teeth yet but still drooling and chewing like crazy.

Refuses to crawl... she screams if she's on her stomach.... instead she scoots on her bottom.

She loves to stand ALL the time.

Has started the letting go while standing thing but is still too unstable to not fall.

Has a temper.... screams with rage when she doesn't get her way.  (Heeeeeelp!)

Sticks her tongue out all the time like a dog.

Makes this baby jaguar sound when upset.

Food is her best friend.

She naps at 6pm. Wakes, eats, gets a bath and is back to bed by 9 pm. Sleeps all night until around 6 am. Gets a bottle. Sleeps until 9 am. (Such a GOOD girl!)

Favorite toys are little people, her shape sorter, board books and stacking blocks.

She is actually quite picky with toys... she has favorites within sets of things. For example: she has a set of squirty bath animals. In this set she likes only 2 or 3 and will ignore the rest. 

Speaking of bath... she LOVES baths.. always has... she's a water baby. 

Her best buddy is Grandma (Carol).

She adores her sisters and is happiest when in the middle of their fun.

Although above is true she has no problem yelling at Aidan or Ainsley when displeased.

She demands attention from people and will NOT let you get away with ignoring her.. especially if she hasn't seen you in a while. 

Likes to play peekaboo. Grins every time!

Her biggest LOVE is 'Raff. 

When she is tired or going to sleep, she covers and strokes her face with 'Raff.

She loves being read to... actually seems to listen to and look at the pages. 

She doesn't like us to sing to her and will put her hands over our mouths to stop us. 

She seems to find pleasure with HIGH PITCH sounds.

Does not like strangers. She cries if they touch her, talk to her, smile at her or look in her general direction.

Motivated Mommy Mondays

Another New Beginning

Home Preschool Class!  

It's only for 2 hours and I have only 1 student
  (my friend's kiddo)  but I'm going to use this time
 to tweek how the class works and use 
sweet Jaelyn as a guinea pig before I add more.

A little Change UP

I obviously have issues with keeping up with blogging... mostly because I use Facebook for pictures and updates. MindWeaving is NO MORE. I've exported all of the posts into this one so that I have ONE blog now. 

Maybe I can keep up with one. 

We'll see.
